Overview
Trailpark Erbeskopf lies on the highest mountain in Rhineland-Palatinate (816 m) in the Hunsrück, right next to Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park. On the former ski slope at the Hunsrückhaus, a compact, lift-served gravity park with around 120 m of vertical has been built, with a T-bar lift taking you back up again and again. Five signposted trails are available – from the gentle Blue Viper for beginners and families, via the red trails Wild Cat and "Per Anhalter durch die Galaxis", to the black Schinderhannes Line with rock gardens, root carpets and jumps. The offer is rounded off by the Easyloop at the Basecamp: a small practice loop right at the valley station, ideal for warming up, first attempts and practising cornering and balance technique before heading onto the big trails. The Basecamp also has seating overlooking the slope, a bike rental with full-face helmets and protectors, and a bike wash area.
