Puro Pirineo - MTB Kingdoms Pyrenees

This spot is part of MTB Kingdoms Pyrenees, an alliance of five riding regions in the Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees of Huesca province (Aragón, Spain). Unlike a classic bike park, there is no single lift-served base area: the Kingdoms are organically grown trail regions built on centuries-old paths that have connected these villages for generations – restored and signposted for mountain bikers. Together, the five areas offer well over 280 marked routes across all disciplines. Rides start straight from the village centres, supported by shuttle services or under your own power; the villages themselves serve as base camps with accommodation, bike services and local food. Puro Pirineo in the Benasque Valley is the high-alpine Kingdom: trails beneath the 3,000-metre peaks around Aneto, the highest summit of the Pyrenees. Long climbs, alpine descents and proper big-mountain character – if you're after big landscapes and big days out, this is the one. Base towns are Benasque and Castejón de Sos.
