About the spot
Overview
More than 40 kilometres of natural trails around the Geschriebenstein, Burgenland's highest mountain, between Lockenhaus and Rechnitz. Four downhill trails with variations in different difficulty levels and four up-and-downhill trails lead through sunken lanes and canyons, over flow lines and a few jumps — built with minimal impact and shaped to the natural terrain. The main starting point is the Ranch car park on the pass, with further access points at the Rechnitz bathing lake and the Margarethenwarte lookout tower.
